We all know the old saying "Give a person a fish, they will eat for a day...teach a person to fish, they will eat for life." At the Culinary School at Eva's Village, we not only teach our students how to cook professionally - we also work with them on important skills relating to managing a budget and a business. We also connect them to resources for housing, ongoing recovery support, and so much more. Most importantly, we connect them to jobs that create real opportunities for success - for themselves, their children and families, and their communities.
So far, 162 students have graduated our Culinary School since we opened the doors five years ago - and to date, 96% of our students have been successfully placed in jobs in the culinary field!
